Mrs. Johnnie Wilson Thomas, age 55 of Frisco, Texas, passed away June 30, 2004 at her residence. She was born August 22, 1948 in Brownwood, Texas to Bennett and Dorothy (Towers) Wilson. On August 5, 1966 she married William Thomas in Brownwood, Texas. She was a Contract Price Analyst in the oil industry, and a member of Preston Ridge Baptist Church in Frisco. She is survived by her two daughters, Jana Lynn Hazlewood and husband Clay of Little Elm, Texas, and Tammy Elaine Cooper and husband Ray of McKinney, Texas; four grandchildren, Amy Elaine and Brianna Evelyn Hazlewood of Little Elm, Texas, and Abby Grace and Lily Rae Cooper of McKinney, Texas; mother, Dorothy Wilson of Brownwood, Texas; four sisters, Nelda Gilbert of Brownwood, Texas, Bennie Holt of Fredericksburg, Texas, Sue Owens of Abilene, Texas, and Dolores Pennington of Hobbs, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, Bennett Wilson. A Funeral Service will be Friday, July 2, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Preston Ridge Baptist Church, 5849 Hillcrest Road, Frisco, Texas with Rev. Gerald Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday, July 1, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Frisco, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
