John David Pierce, age 56, of Plano, Texas, passed away December 22, 2007 in Plano. He was born July 24, 1951, in Oakdale, Lousiana, to Buddy and Dorothy (Weingart) Pierce. One February 14, 1972, he married Ann Carraway in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Pierce was the owner and operator of Associated Excavating and Paving for many years. He is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Ann; son, John Michael Pierce of Plano; daughters, Beth Grothe and her husband Chris of Corona, CA and Heather Pierce and her husband Richard Bragvad of Riverside, CA; grandchildren, Payton and Ashton Grothe; brother, Kenneth Pierce and his wife Wendy of Lumberton, TX; and several other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 27, 2007, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel.
