John Michael “Mike” Miles age 53, of Frisco, Texas passed away May 18, 2006. He was born May 8, 1953, in Clovis, New Mexico to Emanuel and Johnnie Mae (Brewer) Miles. Mike grew up in Friona, Texas. He graduated Friona High School Class of 1971. He was a graduate of the University of Texas School of Pharmacy Class of 1976, where he was a member of Phi Delta Chi fraternity. He was a life member of Texas Exes and an enthusiastic and loyal Longhorns fan, which he shared with his son. Mike began his pharmacy career at Eckerd’s Drug where he and his wife met in 1981. On June 12, 1981, he married Sharon Whitley in Plano, Texas. Mike was a devoted husband and father. They were about to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary on June 12, 2006. He worked as a pharmacist with Guardian Health Systems and spent his life helping others. Mike coached numerous youth athletic teams in Frisco. He is survived by his wife Sharon; son, Sean; sisters and brothers-in-law, Denise & Tom Hunse, Rebecca and David Whitley; mother & father-in-law, Henry & Fran Whitley; and niece Jessica Whitley. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Emanuel & Johnnie Miles. Memorial service will be held 4:00 pm, Monday, May 22, 2006 at Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, Frisco, Texas, with Rev.
