Mr. John Franklin Melick, age 51, of Plano, Texas passed away September 17, 2005, in Plano. He was born October 7, 1953, in San Francisco, California to Melvin Francis and Ruby Jean (Sandberg) Melick. He worked in the moving industry. He is survived by his parents, Melvin “Zeke” and Jean Melick of Plano; sister, Michele Cummings of Indianapolis, Indiana and Denise Jakaitis of Atlanta, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Warren and Clayton Cummings, Brett, Brian, Kelly and Kimberly Jakaitis; and great niece and nephew, Lucy Cummings and William Cummings. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2005, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Plano 8th Ward with Bishop Tim Moline officiating.
