Mr. John Huffman Harrington passed away on October 12, 2008. He was born on December 6, 1925, in Frisco, Texas to Clinton and Ruth Robbins Harrington. On November 28, 1943, he married Janice Cothes, in Carrollton, Texas. He was a member of the Woodman of the World organization and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Janice Harrington of McKinney, Texas; daughter-in-law, Nancy “Annette” Harrington; granddaughter, Kristi Ann Harrington Johnston and husband Jeff; grandson, John “Keith” Harrington; great-granddaughter, Kennedy Ann Johnston; and great-grandson, John “Dylan”Johnston. He is preceded in death by his son, John Grady “Johnny” Harrington; father, Clinton Alfred Harrington, Sr.; mother, Ruth Nancy Robbins Harrington; sister, Fannie Ruth Herndon; and brother, Clinton Alfred Harrington, Jr. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Judith Reedy officiating. Interment will follow at Rowlett Cemetery. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
