Joe Glenn Faulkner, age 81, of Celina, Texas passed away on January 13, 2012. He was born on August 15, 1930 in Collinsville, Texas to Beula (Sanders) and Virgil Lloyd Faulkner. On December 13, 1952, Joe married Maureen Hickman in Sherman, Texas. He worked in Law Enforcement as a Police Officer for Dallas Park Police Department for 27 years and retired as a lieutenant in 1985. Joe is survived by his daughter, Brenda Gail Faulkner of Celina, Texas, granddaughter, Kathryn D. Marcussen of McKinney, Texas, great grandson, Derek Marcussen of McKinney, Texas; son, Kenneth Dale Faulkner and his wife, Vickie of Celina, Texas, grandson, Michael Faulkner and his wife, Charley of Frisco, Texas, great grandson, Karson Faulkner of Frisco, Texas; son, Gary Lynn Faulkner and his wife, Millicent of McKinney, Texas; niece, Michelle Mullins and nephew, Scott Mullins. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Maureen Faulkner and sisters, Dorine Thompson and Zoan Mullins. A Graveside Service will be held at Collinsville Cemetery in Collinsville, Texas on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Rick Carney officiating. Interment will directly follow. A visitation will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Celina, Texas on Monday, January 16, 2012 with no set time.
