JoAnn Harris, age 68, of Garland, Texas passed away on Friday, June, 20, 2014 in Rockwall, Texas. JoAnn was born on March 17, 1946 in McKinney, Texas. She married Larry Earl Harris on July 9, 1964 in Garland, Texas. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
JoAnn is survived by her son, Richard E. Harris and daughter-in-law, Gwen of Farmersville; daughter, Dwana Lynn Hanks of Garland; granddaughter, Mikayla Ann Hanks of Garland; two sisters, Shirley and Milburn McAdams of Whitewright and Glenda and Bob Gilliard of Quinlan; four brothers, Paul Ray Eastham and Linda, Butch Eastham and Nancy, Sammy Eastham, all of McKinney and Billy Don Eastham and Kay of Wylie.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Earl Harris and her parents, Frances Elizabeth and John William Eastham.
Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Farmersville on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. John Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. The family will receive friends at Hurst Fielder-Baker Chapel in Farmersville, Texas for a Visitation on Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
