Joan Susan Hay, age 59, of Walker, Louisiana, passed away March 2, 2011, in Walker. Joan was born April 18, 1951, in McKinney, Texas, to Ray Foster and Edna Earl (Odle) Rush. She married Michael Hay on August 2, 1968, in McKinney. Joan grew up in McKinney. She worked for Allied Finance for thirty years. Joan enjoyed shopping, cooking, and watching her television programs. She is survived by her husband, Michael Hay of Walker, Louisiana; children, Michael Ray Hay and wife, Brenda of Sun Valley, California and Tammy Jean Hughes of Walker, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Jerry Ann Anderson and Edna Ray Hughes. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Williams Cemetery in McKinney, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
