Bordman, Joan Frances

Joan Frances Bordman, age 80, of Frisco, Texas passed away July 14, 2012. She was born August 24, 1931 to Ann (Rogers) and Clarence Gunther in Providence, Rhode Island. Joan traveled extensively in her professional career as an Organized Training Consultant working in places such as Sierra Leone, Tanzania, American Samoa, Lebanon and Peru just to name a few. She was an active member of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church Frisco, TX. Joan was preceded in death by John, her husband of 54 years. Joan is survived by; children, Alethea Wurzburger, Sacramento, California, Leta Niles of Redding, California, Stephanie Burrows and her husband, Dan of San Jose, California, John Bordman of San Jose, California, Chris Bordman and his wife, Marliese of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Deirdre Niles, Barbara Niles, Matthew Burrows, Jeffrey Burrows, Nicole Bordman, Emily Bordman, and Christopher Bordman. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 4:00 PM. Donations in honor of Joan’s life may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation
