Jo Dean Weaver

Jo Dean Weaver was born in Seminole, Oklahoma on December 8, 1941. She went to be with her Lord on September 3, 2012.

Jo Dean received her Bachelors of Science degree at the University of Oklahoma in Medical Technology and worked several years as a lab technician. She was married to Gene Leroy Weaver on September 2, 1967 and spent her married life as a devoted wife and mother.

Jo Dean had an unwavering faith and immense love for her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a member of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, and was heavily involved in the Agape Sunday School class. Jo Dean also volunteered for many years for Write Way Prison Ministries, where she enjoyed ministering to those seeking the Lord in our Texas prisons.

Jo Dean is preceded in death by her father, Joe Rodolph and mother, Estelline Rodolph. She is survived by her husband, Gene Weaver; daughters, Denise Marie Cannefax (Alan) and Dagney Jean Duck (Brandon); grandchildren, Addison Denise Duck, Conner David Cannefax, Lily Marie Cannefax and Ainsley Grier Duck; sister, Linda Billings; and brother, Larry Rodolph (Averil).

The family will receive friends and family, Thursday, September 6, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway N., Allen, Texas 75013. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Parkway Baptist Church, 5600 Virginia Parkway, McKinney, Texas 75071.
