Jo Lynn Rust, age 57 of Frisco, Texas, after a courageous fight with cancer, she went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on July 22, 1950 in Dallas, Texas to Joe D. and Loraine (Thornton) Black. Jo Lynn was Self Employed (Rust Land Surveying) as a Land Surveyor in Quinlan and Round Rock, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Rust of Pflugerville, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Paul J. and Andrea Rust of Pflugerville, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Traci L. and Justin Benson of Frisco, Texas; granddaughters, Peyton Lynn Benson of Frisco, Texas and Vivian Preuss of Pflugerville, Texas and her sister and brother-in-law, Judy G. and William Blakeley of Garland, Texas. Jo Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Jerry Wayne Black. A Funeral Service will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Frisco, Texas on Monday, January 14, 2008 at 10:00 AM with Reverend Bobby Hawkins officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday beginning at 6:00 PM.
