Mrs. Jinnie Vegolda (Shaw) Pruitt, age 89, of Celina, Texas passed away November 30, 2004 in McKinney, Texas. Mrs. Pruitt was born May 3, 1915 in Collin County, Texas to James Ira Shaw and Ida Mae (Smallwood) Shaw. She married Alison P. Pruitt in December 1934 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Pruitt was a member of the First Baptist Church in Celina since 1986. She was a bookkeeper in the Accounting Department at Sears for 25 years. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Waldrep of Celina, Texas; great grandchildren, Chanda and Tyree Waldrep; brother, J. W. Shaw of Pilot Point, Texas; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, 2 grandchildren, 3 sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A .M. Friday, December 3, 2004 at the First Baptist Church in Celina, Texas with Dr. Raymond Horne officiating. Interment will follow at Cottage Hill Cemetery in Celina. Visitation will be held from 6:30 – 8:30 P. M. Thursday, December 2, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Celina, Texas.
