Jimmy Ray Moore, age 76, of McKinney, Texas, passed away September 22, 2010. Jimmy was born July 30, 1934, in McKinney, Texas, to Horace William “Jake” and Ollie Beatrice “Bea” (Deal) Moore. On August 14, 1996 he married Helen Swindle, in Athens, Texas. Jimmy grew up in McKinney where he attended schools. He worked at Associated Springs/Barnes Group for over 40 years as a machinist until his retirement. Jimmy enjoyed fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Helen Moore of McKinney and Mabank, Texas; daughter, Barbara Gail Sweeney and husband Daniel of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Jimmy Swindle and wife Jo-Ann of Mabank, Texas; grandchildren, Gavin and Austin Sweeney; brother, John Moore of Richardson, Texas; a host of other family and friends. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 7:00 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
