Jimmy W. Bradley

Mr. Jimmy W. Bradley, age 57, of Graybill, Texas passed away May 30, 2004, at his home. He was born March 3, 1947, in McKinney, Texas to Joyce Weldon and Billie Frances (Butler) Bradley. He was a graduate of Westminster High School. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. While serving in Vietnam he received a Purple Heart and 2 Bronze Stars. On November 26, 1980, he married Susan Reavis in Mesquite, Texas. Mr. Bradley was a postal carrier for the Lake Highland Post Office for 7 years. He was a member of the VFW in Sherman and the Van Alstyne American Legion. He was also a member of Cannon Baptist Church in Cannon, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Susan Bradley of Graybill; sons, John Meza and wife Tara, and Jimmy Bradley II all of Anna; daughters, Kristi Lea Whaley and husband Greg of Plano and Billi J. Gravely and husband Chris of Krugerville, Texas; grandchildren, Kaely Forbus, Chloe and Zac Whaley all of Plano, Hailie Bradley of Mesquite and Kennedy Gravely of Krugerville; sister, Carol Douglas of Omaha, Nebraska; adopted sister, Shirley Jackson of Graybill; and numerous other loving relatives. His parents preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. John Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
