Jimmie E. Palmer

Mr. Jimmie E. Palmer, age 74, of Princeton, Texas, passed away September 25, 2004, in Plano, Texas. He was born May 25, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Luke and Myrtle (Clark) Palmer. He married Bernice Snider on February 10, 1949, in Rockwall, Texas. Mr. Palmer was an engineering technician and retired from Texas Instruments. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Princeton. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bernice Palmer of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Janet Hendrix and husband Malcom of Edgewood, Texas; sons, David Palmer of Mesquite, Texas, and Michael Palmer and wife, Patti of Allen, Texas; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Palmer of Mesquite; brothers, Loyd Palmer and wife, Doris of Mesquite, and Donal Palmer and wife, Oma Dean of Avery, Texas; grandchildren, James and Jarod Love of Austin, Texas, Jason Palmer of Garland, Texas, Laura Palmer of Abilene, Texas, and Branden Jennings of Allen; several brothers and sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Palmer; and granddaughter, Amy Palmer. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, September 28, 2004, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Bruce Boys officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M., Monday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
