Surrounded by her loving family, our mother, Jeta Maxine Hooter, passed peacefully from this life in the early hours of November 11, 2008 She was born on July 22, 1931 , in Allen, Texas to William Mack Weaver and Ina Mae Christian. On July 7, 1961 she married Benjamin Franklin Hooter, Jr. She is survived by her children, Nina and Ron Morton of Garland, Tx., Stephanie and J.P. Kraus of Plano, Tx., Phyllis and Don Brown of Herndon, Va., Virginia DeSilva of Dallas, Tx., Jill Bishop and Roger Smith of Carlsbad, Ca., Lisa Boyd of Dallas, Tx., and Brian Hooter of San Francisco, Ca.; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Couch and Mary Way both of Richardson, Tx. She is preceded in death by her husband Benjamin Franklin Hooter, Jr. and son Benjamin Franklin Hooter, III. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church of Richardson. Interment will follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
