Jessie Alexander,age 99,of Valdasta,Texas,passed away March 18,2011 in Mckinney, Texas.Jessie was born September 4,1911 in Valdasta, Texas to Lawrence and Mary (Smith) Flemmings. She married Olin Jack Alexander on April 29,1929 in Melissa, Texas.

Mrs.Alexander worked in the Blue Ridge School cafeteria and along with her husband Jack who owned and operated Cattleman's Cafe in Blue Ridge for a number of years in addition to farming. She was a member of the Valdasta Church of Christ.Mrs. Alexander was preceded in death by her parents,spouse,three infant children,one foster son Everett Hamilton and two sisters Jewel Holland and Maureen Williams. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as her fosters sons wife and family of Tacoma,Washington
