Jesse "Leon" Todd

Mr. Jesse “Leon” Todd, age 81, of Lawton, Oklahoma and formerly of Allen, Texas passed away April 27, 2010, in Lawton. He was born August 16, 1928, in Blue Ridge, Texas to Jesse Elbert and Hattie Lou (Nevil) Todd. Mr. Todd proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Tennie Ruth Siegler Todd and his second wife, Helen Beatrice Williams Todd. Mr. Todd worked for Roadway Express Trucking Company for 30 years. He enjoyed vacations to Colorado with family and friends, and loved to work outside and grow all sorts of plants. He loved to laugh and play jokes on his family and friends. Mr. Todd is survived by his children, Bradley Leon Todd and wife, Kannikar, Billy Dale Todd and wife, Carrie, Barbara Ruth Todd Judkins and husband, Kenneth and Sandy Elbert Todd and wife, Nichole; grandchildren, Connie Ruth Todd, Tara Nichole Todd, Shan Anthony Todd, James Arlo Judkins, Eleanor Ruth Judkins, Abigail Hope Todd and William Austin Todd; siblings, Billie Margaret Kyle, Neda Mae Griffin, Doyle Ray Todd and wife, Shirley and Wilma Lou Karch; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Allen with Rev. James Craver officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m., on Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
