Jesse Guerra, age 58, of Garland, Texas, passed away November 14, 2008, in Garland. He was born October 14, 1950, in Robstown, Texas, to Felipe Polanco and Guadalupe Guerra. Jesse was a manager of Las Macarenas Mexican Restaurant of Royse City, Texas and a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Garland. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Guerra of Caddo Mills, Texas; son, Toby Joe Guerra of Garland, Texas; six grandchildren, Jonathan and Nico Benevidez, Julie Bueno, Greyson, Jeramiah, and Cheyenne Guerra; mother, Guadalupe Guerra of Frisco, Texas; brothers, Raymon Guerra of Carrollton, Texas, Reynaldo Guerra of Austin, Texas, and Luis Guerra of Largo, Florida; sisters, Guadalupe “Pita” Verdin and Gloria Hinojosa, both of Sanger, Texas. He was preceded in death by his father, Felipe Guerra and brother, Manuel Guerra. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 19, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday evening with a rosary to follow at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
