Jerry Nolen Toler of McKinney, Texas passed away July 2, 2015 at the age of 73. He was born November 27, 1941 to Lorie Francis Toler and Ethel Jewel (Turner) Toler in McKinney, Texas. Jerry lived in Plano where he attended school until the fourth grade. After his father’s passing, he moved to Bellmead, Texas and graduated from LaVega High School. He then returned to Plano where he met and married Jean Taylor on February 23, 1962. Jerry spent his entire working life as a transportation operator for Safeway Foods and Tom Thumb. He was a member of the Plano Masonic Lodge. Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Jean Toler; son, David Toler and wife Pam; daughter, Michelle Toler-Ferwalt all of McKinney; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 6, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Interment is to follow at Plano Mutual Cemetery in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation Sunday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
