Jerry Lynn Plummer, age 66, of Plano, TX, passed away May 11, 2011. He was born on January 4, 1945, in Vernon, Texas, to Robert O. and Bernice (Olmstead) Plummer. Jerry married his wife Linda Hamm Plummer in Lubbock, Texas and they were married 47 years. He was a Systems Business Manager for Texas Instruments, as well as a Certified Public Accountant and retired after 37 years of service. Jerry always enjoyed the laughter of his grandchildren, and loved each one with all of his heart. He was a football captain in high school and earned a football scholarship to Texas Tech University. He is survived by his wife, Linda Plummer of Plano, Texas; sons, Jeff Plummer and wife Sarah of Frisco, Texas and Kevin Plummer of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Joseph Plummer, Madison Plummer, Jeffrey Plummer Jr., Matthew Plummer, and Jake Plummer. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister. A memorial services will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011, at 4:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas, with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
