Jeri Lynn Elliott

Jeri Lynn Jenkins Elliott, 42, of Frisco, TX, passed away on July 26, 2004 surrounded by her family after a valiant, two-year struggle with breast cancer. A beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt whom will be dearly missed but her memories will live in our hearts forever. Jeri was born in Tulsa, OK on October, 10, 1961. She grew up in Tulsa graduating from Nathan Hale High School in 1979. She was active in Delta Delta Delta sorority and graduated from Oklahoma State University with an accounting degree. Jeri married Kriss William Elliott in March 1987 and lived in Broken Arrow, OK until moving to Texas in 1991. Jeri was very active in all of her daughters’ activities, including Texas Girls’ Choir, Creative Arts and Theater, PTA and was a substitute teacher for several years. Jeri enjoyed scrapbooking, traveling, decorating the family’s home and spending time with her family. Her husband and daughters were her pride and joy and she dedicated her life to loving and caring for them. She is survived by her husband, Kriss; daughters, Kara LeaAnne and Kaitlin Michelle; her mother, Patricia Ann McIntyre, her step-father, Daniel Joseph McIntyre; sisters, Teri Leigh Frank (Paul), Jodi Renee Govrik (John); brother, Steve Edward Jenkins (Eunice); three step-brothers; two step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband’s parents are Frank and Mary Elliott of Stillwater, OK. Jeri was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lee Jenkins; her brother, Jay Howard Jenkins; her grandparents, Jack and Dollie Lane and J. Herbert and Pauline Jenkins. Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 29, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Stonebriar Community Church, 4801 Legendary Drive, Frisco, TX (469)252-5200 with interment at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, TX. Visitation will be Wednesday July 28, 2004 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, TX. Memorials may be made in Jeri’s memory to the Texas Girl’s Choir, 4449 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth, TX, 76107.
