Jeremy Skidmore

S. Jeremy Skidmore, 38, of McKinney, Texas, went to heaven Saturday, January 23 at 1:35 p.m. He was born to Michael R. and Elaine Skidmore, Feb. 20, 1971, in Cushing, Oklahoma. Jeremy graduated from David Ben Jesse High School in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, in 1988 where his parents Pastor the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church. He attended college at Oklahoma State University, where he played football for the OSU Cowboys and has remained one of their most loyal fans. Jeremy graduated from Abundant Life School of Ministry, in La Marque, TX, in 1999. He married Jessica Brewer, the love of his life on April 15, 2000. Jeremy was an active member at Elevate Life Church in Frisco, Texas. He made a far-reaching impact as a worship leader, servant-leader, and as one of Pastor Keith Craft’s select Mighty Men. He touched the lives of everyone with whom he came in contact. Jeremy was passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ, family, and serving the needs of others. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Jessica Skidmore, and three children, Lindy, Laney, and Landon. He is also survived by his parents, Pastor Michael R. and Elaine Skidmore of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; paternal grandfather, Raymond Skidmore and wife Charlene, of Welston, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents, Harry Jr. and Peaches Sneed, of Yale, Oklahoma; sister, Rebecca Skidmore-Dow and husband Aaron of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; as well as four uncles, four aunts, one nephew, one niece, and many cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Operation Elevation, a benevolence ministry of Elevate Life Church, 8500 Teel Pkwy., Frisco, Texas, 75035. A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Keith Craft at Elevate Life Church in Frisco, Texas, Thursday, January 28th 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine – Jackson – Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
