Jeremiah James, “J. J.”, Bryant, age 7, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 20, 2013, in McKinney. J. J. was born July 5, 2006, in Morales, Guatemala, to Randall Baird and Karina Evelin (Bryant) Perez. He grew up in McKinney and was a second grader at Bennett Elementary. J. J. loved baseball and basketball. He played on the Rockhounds team.
He is survived by his father, Randy Bryant of Dallas, Texas; mother, Evelin Perez of Guatemala; brothers, Welly Bryant, Patrick Hurley, and John Hurley; grandparents, Dena and James Bryant of McKinney, Texas, Silvia and Refugio Simenthal of Rupert, Idaho, and Mario Villeda of Guatemala; aunts and uncles, Rhonda Martin and husband, Robert and Celina Simenthal; cousins, Aaron Lee, Bryan Lee, Aaron Martin, and Lane Martin; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2013, at Stonebridge United Methodist Church in McKinney, Texas.
Memorial donations may be made to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
