Mrs. Jennifer Stockford, age 40, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 29, 2010. She was born June 29, 1970, in Jackson, Tennessee, to Burnie Wayne and Margaret Ann (Adams) Chambers. Jennifer was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Arlington. She received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and later earned a master’s from the University of Dallas. On November 11, 1993, she married Doug Stockford in Arlington. Jennifer’s professional career included working most recently for Orthofix, as an Internal Communications Specialist in Lewisville, Texas and previously worked in marketing and communications for EDS in Plano. Jennifer is survived by her husband, Doug Stockford; daughter, Kate and son, Jake; parents, Burnie and Margaret Chambers of McKinney; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Julie Chambers of Flower Mound, Texas; and many other loving family members and many friends. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Tommy Brummett officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Friends are invited to a reception that will follow the conclusion of the services on Wednesday. Exit Stacy, make a U-turn and the funeral home is on the west side of Hwy 75. Take the overpass to the southbound service road which leads you to the funeral home.
