Jeffrey “Lance” Rizzo, age 39, of Wylie, Texas, passed away December 23, 2011. He was born March 21, 1972, in Houston, Texas, to Robert Joseph and Sandra (Rountree) Rizzo. On January 6, 1996, Lance married Marnie McDorman in Wylie. He grew up in Humble, Texas, where he graduated from Humble High School in 1990. Lance received his bachelor’s degree in business from the University of North Texas. He was the owner and CEO of eduphoria!, an educational software company. Lance was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling and collecting limited edition patron of the arts and writer’s series pens, and loved spending time with his family, because his family meant everything to him. He is survived by his wife, Marnie McDorman of Wylie; children, Maryn and Camdyn Rizzo of Wylie; mother, Sandra Rizzo of Wylie; mother and father-in-law, Glyn and Sharon McDorman of Wylie; brothers-in-law, Ira McDorman and Colin McDorman; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth McDorman and Tracy Homier; nephew, Lucian McDorman; aunt and uncle, Bill and Shirley Conner; cousins, Lisa Kim Hanzi, Kelly Grabrisch and her children, Carlee and Katie.
