Mr. Jeff Mayhew, age 35, of Allen, Texas passed away May 27, 2006, in Richardson, Texas. He was born March 24, 1971, in Dallas, Texas to Jerry Michael and Lynette (Smartt) Mayhew. He was a member of Allen Heights Baptist Church in Allen. Jeff was a great lover of music and baseball as well as his family and life. He lived life to the fullest. He is survived by his parents, Lynette and Michael Culbertson of Allen; sisters, Elizabeth King and husband, Russell of Allen, Kristen and Amanda Mayhew of Pasadena, Texas and Lisa Henry of Lake Charles, Louisiana; brothers, John Culbertson of Lake Charles, Louisiana and Leigh Culbertson of Leaque City, Texas; grandmothers, Bobbie Mayhew of North Carolina and Oleta Smartt of Bonham, Texas; uncle, Kevin Smartt and wife, Shelly and family of Bonham, Texas; aunt, Glenda Carrell and husband, Ronnie and family of North Carolina; and nieces and nephews, Nathan, Trent, Jacob and Allie King, Gauge Bramlett and Victoria, Gracie and Madison Henry. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Johnny Nathan Mayhew and Frederick Noel Smartt; and father, Jerry Michael Mayhew. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at the Allen Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Gaines Garner. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
