Jeffery Allen Willis, age 42, of Gordonville, Texas, passed away February 5, 2008 at his residence in Gordonville. Jeffery was born May 16, 1965, in McKinney, Texas, to Jerry F. and Sherry (Phillips) Willis. He married Julie Parker on June 1, 2001, in McKinney, Texas. Jeffery was a member of the Delta Chi fraternity and a 1990 graduate of Texas Tech University. He was in sales and attended the Powell Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Julie; daughter, Hailey Jennings Willis of Carrollton, Texas; parents, Jerry and Sherry Willis of McKinney, Texas; sister, Angie Shewmake of McKinney, Texas; grandmother, Flora Flanagan of Plano, Texas; mother-in-law, Wanda Parker of Arlington, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Gregory Lee Willis. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Bob Smee officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 PM.
