Jeffery Adair Henninger, age 38, of Richardson, Texas passed away May 10, 2009. He was born September 1, 1970 in Wichita, Kansas to Robert and Vivian (Bland) Henninger. Jeff spent most of his life serving as a deputy sheriff for the Sedgwick County Sherriff’s Department in Wichita, Kansas. He worked with the Gang Unit and specialized in youth anti-gang programs. He later moved to the Houston area where he worked as a corporate recruiter. When not spending time with his daughter, Jeff enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Henninger; mother, Vivian Henninger; brothers, Scott Henninger and his wife, Elisa, Justin Henninger and his wife, Deahni; nephews, Aiden and Landon Henninger; aunts, Veanine Benton and Virgina Steinbach. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor Elkanaha Bland and Vera Warren Bland; uncle, Vincent Elkanaha Bland. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas.
