Mr. Julius Joseph “Jeff” Holzknecht, III, age 56, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 30, 2010. Jeff was born on November 29, 1953, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to Julius Joseph Holzknecht II, and Eileen (Rufli) Holzknecht. Jeff grew up in Tennessee, and attended East Tennessee University. He moved to Dallas, Texas in the early 1980’s, and worked as a direct sales representative in various industries. Jeff’s hobbies included golf, tennis, hiking, hunting, and coaching his kids in their sports activities. He enjoyed watching the University of Tennessee and the Dallas Cowboys play football. He was a member of McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. Jeff is survived by his wife of 23 years Pam Holzknecht; son, Jake Holzknecht; daughter, Taylor Holzknecht; sisters, Cheryl Holzknecht of Florida, and Lee Ann Turmelle and husband Tom, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brothers, Mike Holzknecht of Georgia, and Brad Holzknecht of Dallas; nieces, Elizabeth Holzknecht, Claire Turmelle, and Connie Turmelle; and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at McKinney Fellowship Bible Church, in McKinney, Texas.
