Jeff Cross, age 46, of McKinney, Texas, passed away January 24, 2015. Jeff was born July 18, 1968, in McKinney, Texas to Charles Vernon and Neoma Ruth (Parmer) Cross. He married Shannon Deen Finch on September 21, 1996, in Fairview, Texas. Jeff was an Engineering Manager at FiServ in Dallas, Texas. He worked in Children’s Ministries and was a member of Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Richardson, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Shannon Cross; daughters, Ashley Nicole “Nikki” Cross and Alyssa Makenzie Cross; mother, Ruth Cross; sister, Gina Berghauser and husband, Rodney; brother, Vernon Cross and wife, Tonja; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Beverly Kay Finch; sister-in-law, Ginger Finch Cook and husband, Chris; brothers-in-law, Shawn Finch and wife, Dara and Clint Finch; nephews, Andrew Cross and wife, Kalesha and Adam Berghauser; nieces, Kay Cross, Emily and husband, Chase Spurgin, Brooke Finch, and Brailey Finch; great-nieces, Savannah Spurgin and Aubrey Spurgin; and great-nephews, Jay Cross and Riken Cross.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles V. Cross, and grandparents, William Frelon, Cornelia Parmer, and J. Z. and Nell Cross.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 28, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
