IN LOVING MEMORY

Jeanette Louise Farnen

Apr 05 1930 - Jul 01 2015

Jeanette Farnen beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2015 after a long battle with pulmonary fibrosis. She was born April 5, 1930 in South Bend, Indiana. After graduating from high school in 1948, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Hanover College in 1952. While attending Hanover, she met and married her husband, Laurence. They remained married for fifty-five years until his passing in July 2007 from Alzheimer’s disease. Together, they were blessed with a son and four daughters. Plagued with the ravages of pulmonary fibrosis, she remained a fighter and was able to meet her great-granddaughter, Paige Faith in April of this year. After her husband’s passing, Jeanette assumed the leadership role in the family. She reinforced the lessons on the primacy of family, perseverance, and doing your best at all times. Jeanette had a love for dogs, cats, and volleyball. She had a passion about Australia and longed for a visit there. Now she has returned to God, her husband, and all of her pets that preceded her.

Jeanette is survived by her son, Laurence Jr.; daughters, Randi, Victoria, Jeanne, and Paula; blessed grandchildren, Philip and Amanda

An inurnment will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.
