Mrs. Jean Sangster, age 74, of Gunter, Texas, passed away May 15, 2007, in Gunter, Texas. She was born May 3, 1933, in Utah, to Gwynnfred and Elsie (Banks) Roberts. On November 9, 1958, she married Emmitt Weston Sangster in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mrs. Sangster worked as a waitress for fifty years, and was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her children, Jeanette Thompson and her husband Bobby of Whitewright, Texas, Janice Dunn and her husband Winfred of McAlyster, Oklahoma, Robert Sangster of Porum, Oklahoma, and Laurie Dumire of Princeton, Texas; step-daughter, Sherry Lee Sangster of California; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Riffle and her husband Jack of Eucha, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband Emmitt Weston Sangster; her parents; and daughter, Jackie Hunter. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Ridgeview Memorial Park with Rev. Danny Buster officiating. The family will receive friends at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 PM.
