Jean King, age 81, of Kingsland, Texas, passed away May 2, 2015, in Kingsland. Jean was born July 17, 1933, in McKinney, Texas. She loved reading, listening to country music, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Jean also loved traveling, but most of all she loved her family.
She is survived by her sons, Rick Warren of Louisiana, Chris Warren and Scott Warren, both of Kingsland, Texas; grandsons, Brandon Warren and Adam Warren; nephew, Gary Myers; and niece, Docie Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Gene Warren, and second husband, Gene King.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
