Janine Lois Wilson, 56, of Plano, Texas passed away on February 6, 2009. She was born August 28 in Joliet, Illinois to Dr. Richard T. and Lois D. Calosio. She graduated from Joliet West High School and continued to Ohio State University to receive a Baccalaureate Degree from the School of Nursing. With a lifelong desire to help others, Janine began her career at Columbus Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio as an ER Nurse. Upon moving to Dallas, she worked as an ER Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas, Surgical ICU Nurse at Baylor University Medical Center, Clinical Supervisor at Brookhaven Medical Center, Staff Nurse at Lanier-Brown Clinic, and Administrative Nursing Supervisor at Medical Center of Plano, where she was a Frist Humanitarian Award Nominee. Janine was the hands and feet of Christ, serving others tirelessly and compassionately. Her passions included art and design, and she was an accomplished painter. She was a member of the Plano Art Association. Janine dedicated her life to family and to helping others, never turning away anyone in need. Her boundless energy and adventurous nature impacted everyone who knew her. She was fearless, fun loving with a radiant smile, and an inspiration to others. Wherever she went, her kind heart and generous spirit left the world a better place. A loving wife, cherished mother and loyal friend to so many. She is survived by her devoted husband Tony, daughter Vaune, son Derek, son-in-law Ryan, grandson Luke all of Plano, TX, and her sisters Annette Moe, Lynda Calosio, Marcia Calosio all of Scottsdale, AZ. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation beginning from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
