Mrs. Jane Flud, age 81, of Wolfe City, Texas, passed away February 25, 2004, in Wolfe City, Texas. She was born January 15, 1923, in Westminster, Texas, to Alfred and Betty (Cook) Wilkinson. She married J. C. Flud on December 18, 1945, in Byers, Texas. Mrs. Flud was a Nurses’ Aid and of the Church of Christ faith. She is survived by her sons, James Flud and wife, Cora of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Jerry Flud and wife, Patti of Wolfe City, Texas; daughter, Joyce Wright and husband, Josh of Garland, Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bonnie Ramey and husband, J. D. of McKinney, Texas, and Myrtle Meissner of Portales, New Mexico; and brothers, Fee Wilkinson and Lee Wilkinson, both of McKinney. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; five brothers; and five sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 28, 2004, at Elm Grove Cemetery with William McDonald officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
