Janae Celeste Dacus, age 45, of Murphy, Texas passed away January 31, 2011. She was born on January 29, 1966, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Carl C. Prudhomme Jr. and Catherine (Cooper) Prudhomme. On September 17, 1994 Janae married Darrell Dacus in Plano, Texas. She was active in the P.T.A. at Boggess Elementary School in Murphy, Texas; and loved to go to the beach. Janae was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas. She loved her boys and dedicated her life to their happiness and well being. She is survived by her husband, Darrell Dacus of Murphy, Texas; sons, Dylan and Derek Dacus of Murphy, Texas; mother, Catherine Prudhomme of Richardson, Texas; brother, Curt Prudhomme and wife Colette Lassberg of Houston, Texas; mother-in-law, Karen Dacus of Plano, Texas; cousins, James and Catherine Shippy of Marietta, Georgia; and a host of other loving family and friends. Janae was preceded in death by her father, Carl C. Prudhomme Jr. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Jude Catholic Church, in Allen, Texas, officiated by Father Tim Church. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow.
