James Leonard Vaughan

Mr. James Leonard Vaughan, age 64 of Princeton, Texas passed away on February 3, 2006, in Princeton. He was born on February 1, 1942 in McKinney, Texas to Elisha Clinton and Lula (Day) Vaughan. He married Billie Mowat on November 24, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma. Mr. Vaughan was a mechanic and was of the Nazarene faith. He is survived by his children, James H. Vaughan of Princeton, Texas, Teri Murdock and husband, Luke of Gun Barrell City, Texas, and Bobbie Knowles of Waxahachie, Texas; grandchildren, Shane Dickerson, Bryan Dickerson, Josh Dickerson, Erika Knowles; great grandchild, Sarah Dickerson; brothers, E.C. Vaughan of Mena, Arkansas, and Wayne Vaughan of McKinney, Texas; sisters, Marie McGinty of Irving, Texas and Doris Shoemaker of Trenton, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his; wife, Billie Vaughan on February 19, 2005; brothers, Wallace, Weldon, R.A., and Buddy Vaughan; and sisters, Wanda May Godding and Margie Newcomb. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 7, 2006 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Jim Toles and Rev. Dave Carlson officiating. Interment will follow at Scott Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
