James Byron Rosenbaum

James Byron Rosenbaum of Allen, Texas passed away August 18, 2013 at the age of 62. He was born August 24, 1950 to Joe and Ruth (Coley) Rosenbaum in Texarkana, Texas.   James is a 1972 graduate of Texas A&M where he earned a degree in Aerospace Engineering.   At Texas A&M, he was a member of the Corps of Cadets and a Ross Volunteer. James served his country proudly in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He married Sherry Defries on July 23, 1988 in Allen, Texas. James owned and operated White Mesa, Inc. Construction Auditors. James was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed hunting and playing golf.  

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Rosenbaum of Allen, Texas; sons, Chris Rosenbaum of Allen, Texas, Allen Rosenbaum and wife Lindsay of Belton, Texas, Joseph DeFries and wife Catherine of Allen, Texas; daughter, Holly Graves and Adam of Big Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Jordan, Cullon, Jillian, Alexis, Abraham, Ginny, Reese, Finley, and Brody; brother, Ken Rosenbaum of Rogers, Arkansas and numerous nephews, nieces and other loving relatives.  

James was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Ruth Rosenbaum.  

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow in Allen, Texas with Brother John Cannon officiating. Interment is to immediately follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Tuesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
