James Edward Parmer, age 58 of Little Elm, Texas passed away April 18, 2004 at his residence. James was born January 29, 1946 in Pleasant Hill, Oklahoma to Robert Edison Parmer and Bernice (Wheeler) Parmer. He married Wanda Merritt April 15, 1978 in Plano, Texas and was a member of Living Word Baptist Church in Little Elm. James was the President of S & P Custom Homes Inc. since 1993 and a member of the Home Builders Association where he won and earned many awards in this organization. James is survived by his wife, Wanda Parmer of Little Elm, Texas; daughter Kim and husband Steve Morale of Little Elm, Texas; sisters, Shelby Byram of Seagraves, Texas, Pat and husband Kenneth Dout of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Virgie and husband Roy Faircloth of Wylie, Texas, and DeLois Cox of Little Rock, Arkansas; brothers Jerry and wife Carlita Parmer of Little Elm, Texas, and Travis and wife Nita Cox of Cherokee, Oklahoma. He is preceded in death by his step-parents, Lloyd and Ruby Cox; brother, Robert Parmer, and son, Brent Turnage. A Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 21, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Living Word Baptist Church in Little Elm, Texas with Pastor Nick Farley officiating.Visitation will be 6:30-8:30 PM Tuesday, April 20, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas.
