James Stephen (Steve) Mangham

James (Steve) Mangham, age 36, of Frisco, Texas passed away November 28, 2006 at his home. He was born November 28, 1970, in Dallas, Texas to James Melton and Doris (Mead) Mangham. Steve was educated in the Sherman, Texas schools and Grayson County Community College. Mr. Mangham was self-employed in the soil and water conservation industry and he was of the Episcopal faith. Steve had a great wit, entertaining everyone around him, and always ready to help those in need. He loved animals and was an outdoorsman who loved, hunting, fishing and the great outdoors. He was loved by all and will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He is survived by his parents; sister Kay Mangham of Frisco, Texas; grandmother Verna Mangham of Graham, Texas; uncles Don Mead of Ardmore, OK and Bill Mead of Durant, OK; and aunts Janice Thompson of Keller, TX and Diane Blake of Graham, TX; special dog Harley; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandfather Curtis Mangham; grandparents Jack and Lorene Mead; and aunt LaReva Morton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2006 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in McKinney with Father David Krause officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM, Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made in Steve's name to SPCA of McKinney, Texas 972-562-7297.
