James Monroe Kindle, age 59, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 30, 2007 in McKinney. James was born July 12, 1948, in Matador, Texas to William Martin and Reba Jo (Allen) Kindle. He married Margaret Lougene Mooney on June 10, 1966 in McKinney, Texas. James grew up in McKinney and was the owner and operator of Kindle Paint and Decorating. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife; daughter, Shelly Ladd and her husband, Terry of McKinney; son, James Kindle also of McKinney; grandchildren, T. J. and Kindle Ladd; mother, Reba Jo Kindle Browning of Terryville, Connecticut; brother, Hubert Kindle of McKinney; sisters, Arnetta Talley of Princeton, Texas, Jean Ferguson of McKinney, Texas, Barbara Keene of Sherman, Texas, and Dorothy Jean Godwin of Princeton, Texas; sister-in-law, Joyce Kindle; and a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and brothers, A. D. Kindle and Billy Kindle. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2008, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in McKinney, Texas with Rev. Tom Ogdon officiating. Interment will follow at Wilson Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM.
