James "Jim" Frank Keller IV

James (Jim) Frank Keller IV, age 70 of Celina, TX passed away on December 15, 2014 in McKinney, TX. Jim was born on July 1, 1944 in Battle Creek, Michigan to James Frank Keller III and Cleo Marie (Weese) Keller.

Jim’s youth was spent in Hinsdale, Illinois where he graduated from Hinsdale High in 1962. Jim went on to graduate from the University of Notre Dame in 1967.

Following graduation Jim moved to California where he met his wife, Carolyn. They were married at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart on the University of Notre Dame campus December 29, 1969.

After moving to Texas Jim went on to found, own and operate KFS Logistics for 24 years.  

Jim is remembered by wife, Carolyn Sue (Estep) Keller of Celina, TX; sons, James Frank Keller V and Alison Holyfield of Euless, TX, Robert Keller and wife, Robin of Keller, TX; daughter, Carrie Kinsler and husband, Joseph of Celina, TX; granddaughters, Katelyn Holyfield and Louella Kinsler; brothers, Matthew Keller and wife, Pamela of Charleston, SC, Tom Keller and wife, Patricia of St. Charles, IL; sister Lou Ann Keller of Chicago, IL; Aunt, Lou Kimleblot and husband, Sherm of San Antonio, TX; uncle, Harold Weese and wife, Erda of Elkins, WV. He is also remembered by his extended family and many friends and business associates.

A celebration of Jim’s life will be held on January 3, 2015 at the C.R. Smith Museum (American Airlines Museum). Fond memories, food and drink will be shared by all.
