James (Jim) Bryant Crisp, age 48, of Allen, Texas, passed away March 25, 2009. He was born March 11, 1961 in Garland, Texas to James Jay and Amanda Alice (Ingram) Crisp. On October 20, 1990 he married Sonja René Tidrow in Garland, Texas. Jim grew up in Garland and graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School. He received his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Jim worked 23 years for Carrier North Texas as a Territory Sales Manager. He was a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church and enjoyed being part of a Master’s Men Bible Study with several friends. Jim was an avid lover of sports. He loved NASCAR, baseball, hunting and especially the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his wife, Sonja Crisp of Allen, Texas; children Conner and Kendall Crisp; parents, Jim and Amanda Crisp of Garland, Texas; sister, Jean Crisp Ramsey of Katy, Texas; father and mother-in-law, Gaston and Willie Faye Tidrow of Haskell, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Barry Tidrow and wife, Stacy of Lubbock, Texas; nephews, Brandon and Blane Tidrow of Lubbock, Texas, Will Ramsey of Katy, Texas; nieces, Gail Ramsey of Katy, Texas, Callie Tidrow of Lubbock, Texas and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason Ramsey. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, 1015 State Hwy 121, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during visitation on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
