James Irvin "Indian" Holt, Jr.

James Irvin “Indian” Holt, Jr., age 65 of Plano, Texas, passed away on August 5, 2014 in Plano, Texas. He was born May 18, 1949 to James Irvin Holt, Sr. and Carolyn (Black) Holt in Dallas, Texas. Indian graduated from El Campo High School in 1967. He married Pamela Wendt on March 11, 1978 in Dallas, Texas. Indian worked for Bowling and Billiard Supplies of Dallas for over 25 years. In 2005, Indian began a new business venture as President/Owner of New Age Amusements. He successfully grew the company through establishing partnerships throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Main Event, and many more.

Indian is survived by his loving wife Pam Holt of Plano, Texas; daughter Kristin Holt Adams and husband Danny of Los Angeles, California; son, Lance Holt of Phoenix, Arizona; and two grandchildren, Harper and Holt.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Carolyn Holt, and brother Timothy Holt.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 12:00pm at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorials may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or to Veterans of Foreign Wars USA.
