Mr. James R. “Jimmy” Crouch, age 62, of Anna, Texas passed away June 4, 2010. He was born November 5, 1947, in San Jose, California to James Aaron and Elizabeth Irene (Shepard) Crouch. On June 16, 1970, he married LaRue Thorn in Hugo, Oklahoma. Mr. Crouch proudly served his country in the United States Army, and was a Viet Nam Veteran. He was a former member of the American Legions in McKinney, Texas and Van Alstyne, Texas. Mr. Crouch is survived by his wife, LaRue; son, Dale Crouch of Anna, Texas; sisters, Gail Storie of High Hill, Missouri, Brenda Duran of Azle, Texas and Donna Kaczor of Van Alstyne, Texas; brother Chad Crouch of Melrose Park, Illinois; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Crouch; his step-father, Bob Sperry and mother, Irene Crouch Sperry; and brothers, Alan Sperry and Kent Crouch. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at the Westminster Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Barton officiating. Interment will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday, June 7, 2010, to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m.
