Jacquelyn May Graber, age 60, of Allen, Texas passed away March 6, 2011. She was born April 21, 1950 in San Jose, California to William Bercaw and Geraldine (McGaw) Bercaw. On December 21, 1987 she married Don Graber in San Jose, California. Jacquelyn grew up in San Jose, California, where she graduated from James Lick High School in 1968. She graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor of science, majoring in geography. Jacquelyn worked as a teacher in California and Texas in the public and private school sectors. She was a member of The Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW Post #4380 in Plano. She was a Job’s daughter. Jacquelyn had owned and operated Jacque’s Tole Tree. She enjoyed playing the guitar, arts and crafts and collecting chicken arts and collectibles. She is survived by her husband, Don Graber; daughter, April Abbott and husband, John; granddaughters, Jordan Abbott and Josaphine Soares; grandson, Alex Abbott and sister, Jeralyn Spradlin, and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeramy Soares and her parents. A memorial service followed by a reception will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 11, 2011, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Dr. Danny Buster officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
