Jacob Charlie Miller

Jacob Charlie Miller, age 81, of Princeton, Texas passed away January 10, 2010. He was born February 10, 1928 in Shiloh, North Carolina to James Lee and Ila (Byers) Miller. On October 29, 1982 he married Patricia Ann Karrigan in Mesquite, Texas. Jacob proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a bricklayer for sixty years and was a member of the Bricklayers and Allied Craft Workers Association. Jacob owned and operated Branch Grocery and Bait Shop for fourteen years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Miller of Princeton, Texas; sons, Chuck Miller and wife, Rene of Plano, Texas, Ken Miller of Princeton, Texas; daughter, Sandra Miller Redden of Blue Ridge, Texas; grandchildren, Matt, Jenny, Eaf, Ethan, Kendra and Cooper; brother, Richard G. Miller of Dallas, Texas; step-daughter, Susan Casselberry of Dallas, Texas; step-son, Roger Martin of Granbury, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ila Miller; former wife, Janette Miller; and son, Ron Miller. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 16, 2010, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
