Mr. Jackie W. Taylor, age 62, of Talihina, Oklahoma, passed away December 15, 2006 in Fate, Texas. He was born November 13, 1944, in Collin County, Texas to Vernie G. and Evalyn N. (Bass) Taylor. On June 16, 1963 he married Robbie Kimbell in Plano, Texas. Mr. Taylor served his country in the US Navy. He was a machinist with a manufacturing company. Mr. Taylor was a Native American and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Robbie; children Nickie Taylor of Melissa, TX, Jimmie Taylor and his wife Carrie of Anna, Texas and Amanda Jones and her husband Jay of Royse City, TX; grandchildren Kolton, Cody, Tori Taylor, Elisha Bell, and Tristen and Eljone Taylor; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cecil and Wilma Kimbell of Melissa, TX; sister Barbara Lynn Barnes and her husband Fred of Mesquite, Texas; and a host of other family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents. A Remembrance Gathering will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 21, 2006 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
