Mr. Jackie Charlie Lee Headrick, age 56, of McKinney, Texas, left this life peacefully after a courageous battle with multiple health problems, on October 21, 2004. He was born August 3, 1948, in McKinney to Fred and Alene (Allen) Headrick. Nora and Charlie Headrick (grandma and grandpa) and aunts, Cleo Moore and Ella McNabb played a very important and influential role in his upbringing. He married Mary Parish on July 24, 1970, in McKinney. Mr. Headrick served in the U. S. Army. He was an industrial clerk and was of the Methodist faith. He was known to make everyone laugh. He is survived by his wife, Mary Headrick of McKinney, Texas; son, Jeremi Headrick of McKinney; daughter, Emily Laney of McKinney; and mother and father-in-law, Pat and Ervin Angermiller, also of McKinney. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; grandma and grandpa Headrick; and aunts, Cleo Moore and Ella McNabb. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 25, 2004, at the First United Methodist Church in Lucas, Texas, with Dr. Darrell Coats officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
